Liverpool 1-0 Stoke: Late Glen Johnson Goal Sinks Stoke and Saves Rodgers Liverpool stole a 1-0 win over Stoke in the Premier League on Saturday, courtesy of a late goal from Glen Johnson. The visitors frustrated Brendan Rodgers all afternoon and had the chances themselves to take the lead. However in the 88th minute, Johnson came storming in to meet the ball after Rickie Lambert’s header rebounded off the bar, to stop Liverpool’s losing streak.
